Designated MAE258--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. Fragment from a small LM bowl. The rim is missing for most of the sherd and the interior rim, where present, is highly chipped. The superior rim surface is completely obscured by light gray corrosion. The decorative schema consists of a single circumferential incised line on the neck and a single circumferential furrow on the superior body. The line is 0.294 cm wide and the furrow 0.60 cm wide. Dense circumferential rotational striations and horizontal polish marks are visible on all surfaces except for the highly corroded and chipped rim. The external surface features moderate amounts of light gray dendritic corrosion, particularly on the neck rim and body. Highly limited frequencies of the same corrosion are present on the interior. In addition to the fine sand, significant frequencies of medium and coarse sand are visible in the fabric. The external surface features highly limited frequencies of pyrite pops and the interior features moderate frequencies of perforating inclusions. Breaks are hackley.
