Area in the south corner of the trench where there is no flagstone floor (only one large flat rock). Marked by a packed orange clay in the east and in the corner, and a deep, medium brown, carbon-filled clay pit elsewhere, continuing, it seems, under the SW baulk. Elevations indicated are west corner.
