Designated MAE173--radiographed, XRF, SAXS. An undecorated fragment from a small LM vessel. There is some abrasion on the superior rim surface, possibly the result of use. A chip on the rim makes diameter measurement difficult. Dense circumferential rotational striations are visible on both surfaces. The exterior is 33% mottled with Very Dark Gray GY1 3/N and 10% with Red 2.5YR 5/6 flecking. In addition to the fine sand, significant amounts of coarse and very coarse sand are visible in the fabric. The interior surface is moderately perforated by sand inclusions. Breaks are rough.
