Walking south from the benchmark atop Tsaghkahovit fortress, Ts BC 1 is the first group of cromlechs encountered, just beyond the west settlement, below the defunct wind mill (map quadrant B4o).
These cromlechs are set on the slopes of a broad swale between two bedrock ridges. The lower reaches of the area have been highly disturbed by the windmill construction.
Although the area is punctuated by bedrock outcrops, this cluster hosts approximately 35 standard and spiral cromlechs within an area roughly 50m x 90m. The cromlechs reach well upslope, though they are packed more densely at lower elevations. Several burials appear to have been looted quite recently.
Feature 1 (plate XIIIc): is a recently looted standard cromlech. Scattered around the burial is a light concentration of ceramic sherds attributable to the Late Bronze Age (fig. VI.26).
Feature 2: adjacent to this standard cromlech, 5m in diameter, is a small, circular basin cut into the bedrock. The basin is 1.7m in diameter and 2.2m deep.
Feature 3: is another looted cromlech, although part of one capstone is still in place and the construction appears to have been reused as a shelter.
