Located 0.12km southeast of Ts BC 39 (bearing 103°), on the east bank of a small watercourse, Ts BC 41 is 0.98km south of the foot of Mt. Aragats where it intersects the plain (map quad C5a).
The burials of Ts BC 41 are set at the base of a rubble covered south-facing slope, on the northern edge of a small enclosed basin.
This cluster extends 110m east-west and 55m north-south and includes at least 40 discrete burials. The burials in this cluster include at least three mounded cromlechs as well as standard and stepped cromlechs. The burials overall range in size from small cromlechs 2m in diameter to medium-sized kurgans just under 9m in diameter (see feature 1). It was within the area of Ts BC 41 that we found Stela T1 (see feature 2 and entry for Ts Stela 1).
No surface materials.
Feature 1 (plate XIVc): is a moderately-sized mounded cromlech, 8m in diameter north-south and 8.8m in diameter east-west. The cromlech rises 0.80m above the surrounding ground surface and is constructed of small basalt and tuff cobbles. On the southeastern arc of the construction the cobbles appear to have eroded slightly to reveal a segment of the underlying cromlech ring, built of unshaped basalt blocks. Atop the cromlech, offset slightly to the east, is a cluster of 5 or 6 small basalt blocks that seem to define the perimeter of a small rectangular socket. This socket is about 25cm square--large enough to fit the base of feature 2, a phallus shaped stone stela.

Feature 3 (plate Xc): is a highly discrete paved cromlech, 3.2m in diameter. It is constructed of a single ring defining an interior space covered with what appear to be interlaced basalt blocks.
