Ts BC 48 is located 0.32km east (bearing 93°) of Ts BC 32 and 1.72km east (bearing 98°) of Tsaghkahovit fortress (map quad C5a).
This cluster is set on the western edge of a triangular shaped outcrop. Bedrock erupts through thin soil deposits all across the area, obscuring potential constructions.
This cluster of cromlechs hosts some of the larger burials in this rather crowded quadrant of the lower slopes of Mt. Aragats. Overall, the cluster includes approximately 11 clearly definable burials.

Feature 1: is a large stepped cromlech, 7m in diameter. The outer ring is constructed of large worked basalt blocks set in close order. The inner ring is raised an average of 0.15m above the outer ring. It too is constructed of large worked basalt blocks. The center of the tomb is defined by two central capstones, the largest of which is 2.2m long by 1.4m wide while the other is 1.7m x 0.7m.
Feature 2: is a slightly smaller, slightly elliptical, standard cromlech, 5m in diameter. The single outer ring is constructed of large basalt blocks surrounding two large worked capstones.
