This sprawling cluster of cromlechs (plate VIIIa) is located 0.35km southeast (bearing 120°) of Ts BC 81 (map quad B4k).
Ts BC 86 occupies an extended area along the western bank of a small water course. The terrain is relatively flat, sloping slightly eastward toward the drainage, except in the northern quarter of the cluster where the burials ascend the south-facing slope of a small outcrop.
Like many of the clusters in this area of the Tsaghkahovit quadrant, Ts BC 86 extends across a large area, approximately 200m north-south and 180m east-west. Estimates suggest approximately 60 cromlechs dispersed across the area. Standard and spiral cromlechs were recorded in the area. Many were visible only as rings of stone as the interiors were submerged beneath layers of sod. The cromlechs range between 3 and 5m in diameter and are built of basalt blocks.
No surface materials.
Feature 1: is a fairly typical standard cromlech for this cluster. 5.5m in diameter, it is constructed of small and medium-sized, shaped basalt blocks. Only part of one flat capstone, 1m in length, is visible as much of the interior is submerged beneath a layer of sod.
