Just 0.16km southeast (bearing 170°) of Ts BC 88, this cluster of burials occupies the west flank of the same ridge that hosts Ts BC 87 on its eastern slope (map quad B4j).
Ts BC 96 was found on the lower and middle slope of a north-south oriented ridgeline. At the top of the ridge, denuded bedrock rises from thin soil deposits. On the slopes, boulders and bedrock erupt from the ground surface.
The standard and bedrock cromlechs of this cluster occupy 155m east-west by 130m north-south. An accurate count is difficult since many are submerged while others are obscured by boulders and bedrock. Approximately 12 cromlechs are clearly visible, but more are likely present. All are small, between 2.5 and 4.5m in diameter, and built of shaped, small and medium-sized basalt blocks.
