Sk BC 09 lies 0.96km southeast (bearing 129°) of Sahakaberd Fortress, on the eastern slope of the same rise that also hosts Sk BC 04 (map quad B4h).
Like its neighbor, Sk BC 04, this cluster lies on a gentle slope of a low rise. The east facing slope that hosts Sk BC 09 overlooks a cultivated field and, further east, a small watercourse.
A long, densely packed ribbon of cromlechs lies at the center of this cluster. 25m long and 2.5m wide, this line of burials includes at least 18 paved cromlechs. All of the burials are 2-2.5m in diameter and are composed of medium, shaped basalt blocks. The surrounding area also hosts at least 15 discrete cromlechs, most small paved or standard, ranging between 2.5 and 3.5m in diameter.
