Located 1.70km south (bearing 173°) of Sahakaberd fortress, Sk BC 29 is one of the southernmost clusters of the entire Aragats slope (map quad B3c).
These burials were built on a wide plateau atop a north-south oriented ridgeline. The east slope of the ridge overlooks a major watercourse draining the northern slope of Mt. Aragats.
The cluster is quite small compared to neighbors further north--no more than 35 burials were recorded. All are small standard cromlechs, 2-4m in diameter, built of unworked, medium-sized basalt blocks.
