This construction was found 0.4km north (bearing 15°) of Hnaberd fortress and 0.5km south (bearing 180°) of Hn AR 01 (map quad B3i).
Hn AR 02 lies at the foot of Hnaberd fortress, on a gentle north-facing slope.
Two lines of perpendicular walls are visible from the surface. One line is 6m long, oriented northwest to southeast. The second is 8m long and oriented northeast to southwest. They are both double faced and constructed of medium to large basalt blocks. The corner where they would join or abut is submerged.
