This cluster of cromlechs is located 0.25km south (bearing 180°) of Hn BC 16, marking the southern extent of a conspicuously ordered line of clusters that also includes Hn BC 15 (map quad B3a).
Like Hn BC 16, this cluster of burials is set on the northern slope of a low rock outcrop punctuated with eroding natural bedrock. The is no evidence for disturbance in the area, but erosion and submergence do seem to have had an impact on the cromlechs.
This small cluster, like Hn BC 16 to the north, includes only small to medium-sized standard cromlechs. Approximately 25 discrete burials were visible within an area 60m east-west by 45m north south. All were constructed of medium-sized basalt blocks.
