Set midway between Hnaberd fortress (3.32km, bearing 265°) and the Mantash river (3.73km bearing 90°), Ma Canal 14 is adjacent to, and perhaps connected with, Ma Canal 11 (map quadrant B1h).
The canal trace lies at the bottom of a broad valley between two raised ridges.
The trace is visible only as a faint linear depression. It is 0.3-0.5m in depth and 1.0-1.5m wide. It is visible for a length of approximately 30m and then becomes difficult to trace. It runs roughly south-north at a bearing of 3°.
