The stela is located 0.4km south of Korbulag village and 0.36km west of Ap Reservoir 1 (map quad C5c).
The stela was found in situ atop a low north-south oriented ridge on a terminal northeast spur of Mt. Aragats. The hill looks out across the Tsaghkahovit plain and east to Ap Reservoir 1.
The stela is a small block of roughly worked black basalt, The top is roughly 25cm square and the block is 43cm tall. It was found sunk into the ground and resting at an angle. The stela was surrounded by large outcrops of weathered bedrock on all sides. However, no other built features were visible.
