A large bedrock outcrop sitting high in the Aragats foothills, overlooking the Kasakh Valley, Aparan Reservoir, and Aragats Village.
Fortress constructed from boulders with three primary sides, width of walls around 5 m. The west-facing wall appears to be best preserved, behind which, or attached to, sites a rectangular block of rooms. At least one separate room block is preserved to the east below the citadel on a small terrace. Wall fall and collapse make it difficult to estimate how high the extant walls stand, but they may be as high as 2 or 3 m.
