Located 4.73km southeast (bearing 150°) of Mantash village, Ma Reservoir 4 appears to be fed by both natural mountain streams as well as Ma Canals 9 and 10 (map quad B1c).
The reservoir sits on a large gravelly surface nestled in a small depression surrounded by low ridges.
A stream cuts through this rectangular reservoir from south to west. To the north is a steep drop in elevation and an excavated channel filled with boulders. The reservoir is approximately 30m north-south and 61m east-west.
No surface materials, but recent building activity indicates modern construction at the site. This, of course, does not preclude use in earlier periods.
