This ceramic disk is consistent with those of other loci in T38 on the western slope of Gegherot. It is comparable in thickness, corseness, and diameter. The finish on the exterior is dark grey (almost black) and the interior is tanish orange ("red") with small inclusions (likely temper), typical of EB pottery. Though the disk is not a perfect circle (more of an oblate spheroid), it is distinctly worked in contrast to pot sherds. The interior color is 7.5YR 5/4.
