A rim to body sherd of a large basin. This is a type 5 bowl (large), but also has the faintest traces of a shallow furrow beneath the rim, which makes it borderline type 9. Surfaces are slipped and polished, brown.
On inclusions, there are several very large sand inclusions, which is why designated as coarse, but the majority of the inclusions are medium sand.
On rim, could also be considered two-part.
Note: there are 4 color core bands: yellowish red, dark gray, yellowish red
