12.12.12 A shoulder, handle, and body sherd of a small amphora with circular handle. Surface is highly red burnished, with a bit of black fire clouding at base of handle. Orientation can't be reconstructed because rim and even neck are not preserved. Did not measure colors of core bands because don't want to fracture a restored vessel for fear of breaking. Restored and photographed (professional).
