    This is a relatively large piece of charcoal, perhaps suitable for testing, that was found while excavating Locus 31 in operation WSAD, in the western corner. This piece might therefore rest directly above the second stone floor found in this trench, a potential earlier floor. Elevation 2139.35, .1 m from SE baulk, .1 m from SW baulk.
