Place: Ar/Ts.WSDB.24

This is the locus that captures the dark, loamy soil of the seeming wash layer surrounding the small mandible and the more NW extent of the human remains (that were also in Locus 18; the body itself is Locus 20). The small mandible and an ulna were found in this locus, which extends from under where two leaning rocks were found at the 6 m baulk to the NW extent of WSDB\'s third extension (the 7.5 m baulk). The matrix is rich, dark, loamy, and is changing at the bottom of the locus to a more clayey soil with dark lenses, some of which appear to have charcoal (e.g. Ar/Ts.WSDB.24.C14.01).
