This is a large sample of well-contextualized charcoal from the trough feature in WSS2. The soil in the trough was very dark, almost like a wash, bt that might have been the result of significant rain the night before we dug the feature. Found at 2144.169 mASL, 3.24 from the NW baulk, 6.41 m from the NE baulk.
