This 1 by 1m test trench was 10m east of T37I and 10m south of T37F on the western slope of Gegharot. In stark contrast to the many other the units this one contained a considerably high density of cultural material and some evidence of architecture. It was according to these data that we opted to begin a larger operation in this unit.
