This 9x5m unit is located 17.0m west of T39, 38.0m south of T38, and 10.0m south of T41. We began this operation as a 5x5m unit. It is situated in an area that both GPR and magnetometry suggested was anomalous. Upon excavation it became clear that there was Early Bronze Age cultural activity in this area. While we uncovered part of a terrace wall oriented NW to SE, it is clear that if there was any associated architecture or cultural floors they were destroyed in amelioration activity. This unit contained a considerable rock pile to the west of the terrace wall. While it is possible some of this is collapse, the sheer volume and topography of the surrounding area on the slope suggests that this product of modern bulldozing activity. This was verified by the low density of cultural materials situated below and within the pile.
