Place: Ar/Ts.WSI2.11

Lcous 11's soil is very similar to Locus 3, but we found it much lower, so it was kept as a separate locus. The soil is light in color, very clayey, and has lenses of small bits of charcoal. We sampled three bits of charcoal from this locus, found near the NE wall, but they are all quite small and it's doubtful that they are from a good context. Locus 11 stretches across the northeastern half of the interior of the room, 8.05m in length and 3.60m in width. However, it has an extension in the western corner that encroaches into the area of locus 14, and here the locus is 5.10m wide at its maximal extent.
