This locus constitutes an end to the removal of locus 11 in WSAC, a clay/organic rich matrix that had been screened, ending 7/21/10. Locus 17 has a significant amount of small bits of charcoal as well as a high density of artifacts, both bone and ceramic (which seem to be mostly Iron 3). The locus however does not appear to be a floor surface as it was an arbitrary stop of Locus 11, and the stones of both the NE and SE walls continue to appear, suggesting that the locus continues and that the floor is beneath.
