Place: Ar/Ts.SLT9.32

Large pit dug into bedrock and surrounded by locus 31 floor. Screen much of the fill, and took 2 soil sample bags as well. The pit appears to be fed at the north lip by a channel carved into bedrock that is designated locus 33. Interestingly, a gray ashy clay layer appears to have washed into the pit from the channel, as suggested by the shape and orientation of the ash pile. I took 2 separate cloth soil samples of this as well, and took a radiocarbon sample from it as well.
