Place: Ar/Ts.WSG.11

This locus marks the area of the doorway of room G, in the west corner of the trench. The area was full of small rocks, however they were resting on silt. Judging by the larger, worked rocks that line the sides of the doorway/passageway, it is likely these smaller rocks have fallen or eroded into the area and are not part of the architecture. The locus was excavated by pushing back from the interior of room G and removing the smaller rocks and the silt matrix that contained them. However, eventually while excavating locus 11 we encountered a series of aligned rocks towards the west that appear to be closing the doorway. This line or rocks marks the end of the locus.
