Place: Ar/Ge.T19.532

The soil in L532 is the same grey/brown silty loam matrix as in L531. Along the LBA wall, there are more rocks coming up, heading east from the wall. It is difficult to tell whether they are architectural or not. Around some of the rocks in the NW corner, there is a loose, gravelly yellow soil. In the SW corner, along the LBA wall, we found a small piece of groundstone (Ar/Ge.T19.532.L.01). We also found a cut horn core (Ar/Ge.T19.532.B.01) just east of the LBA wall. We found half of a polishing stone (Ar/Ge.T19.532.L.02) in the SW corner of the locus. We found a small piece of charcoal in the SE quadrant of the locus, which we collected for dating (Ar/Ge.T19.532.C14.01).
There is a small, oval area of what appears to be baked clay in L532. It is hard, granular, and light yellow and pink/red. It is 0.9 m east of the LBA wall and 2.4 m south of the north wall of the trench. It is 25 cm E/W and 12 cm N/S. We found a groundstone mortar (Ar/Ge.T19.532.L.03) near the center of the locus. We found a ceramic disk/”jar stopper” (Ar/Ge.T19.532.CO.01) along the southern edge of the locus. We found half of a cylindrical stone disk with a hole in the middle (Ar/Ge.T19.532.L.04) in the SE quadrant of the locus. We found a small piece of groundstone (Ar/Ge.T19.532.L.05) in the SE corner of the locus. We collected a small piece of charcoal for radiocarbon dating (Ar/Ge.T19.532.C14.02) from the SE corner of the locus, where there were also many more tiny pieces of charcoal. We found a small bronze bead (Ar/Ge.T19.532.M.01) near the center of the locus. There are many more medium sized rocks in this locus, though none of them are architectural.
We took a small piece of charcoal (Ar/Ge.T19.532.C14.03) and another slightly larger one (Ar/Ge.T19.532.C14.04) from the SE corner of the locus.
