This ceramic disk unfortunately appears to have been split in half prior to deposition (as suggested by the smoothness of the break). In contrast to many of the other disks uncovered in the excavation of T38, it seems to be almost perfectly round and quite smooth along its edges -- perhaps indicative of considerable use. It is comparable in breadth to that of the other disks and EB pottery writ large. The surface of the pottery appears to be the same in color on both sides 2.5Y 2.5/1 ("black") and the fabric is lighter in color 10YR 4/2(dark grayish brown). From the surface, one can clearly see that the fabric is smooth yet corse containing some visible inclusions.
