This ceramic disk is exemplary of many EB ceramic characteristics. The thickness and corse nature of the sherd are comparable to much of the ceramics uncovered in our excavations of this unit. The morphology of this find makes it easily discernible. It is a nicely round circle with clear signs of use. While the exterior is black, the interior is a greyish red 5YR 4/6. The temper in the fabric is visible with the naked eye.
