Place: Ar/Ge.T38.19

Locus 19 refers to the area underlying the southern extent of locus 13 (collapse from locus 15). This locus is characterize by predominately small stones that seem to run consistently East-West between loci 9 and 10, the two parallel walls. The stones are between 5 and 15cm in size. The sediment is a tanish/brown color. The sediment was fine grained and had an ash-like feel to it. It was moderately compact and poorly sorted. One of the primary objectives for the excavation of this context was to determine if -- amidst the mess -- there was a join between the two walls. As the final photos suggest we have evidence that there might be, although this still warrants further exploration.
