Locus 16 continues down in the E half of the room interior where Locus 14 ended essentially. We dug through a packed clay (possibly a floor) to reveal uneven bedrock beneath it where this locus ends. Along the SE baulk, a large oval paving stone extends into this locus from the baulk... potentially a pit? This Locus was sterile.
