This object refers to a large ceramic disk. This disk is made from a vessel that was reddish brown on dark reddish brown (red on black). The object itself is slightly convex. The edges are not smooth, but rather jagged. This piece appears to be evenly fired and made from a fairly homogeneous paste. While the surfaces appear to be smooth they do not appear to have been burnished.
