Place: Ar/Ge.T44.32

This context refers to the area underlying locus 19 and locus 20 on the western half of the unit (interior to the architecture). We created a single context in our search for bedrock on this side of the trench. We are gently excavating with shovels as it seems there is still quite a bit of dirt to move and none of the materials are in situ. The matrix is characterized by a dark-grey sediment. It is poorly sorted, contains a few small stones 5-10cm in size and a medium density of cultural materials. These materials are predominately EB. We believe this context is sitting atop bedrock and that there is no floor between them.
