This context is a small, circular pit situated directly north of the cut (locus 42) in the northern half of the trench. This pit is situated immediately south of locus 41, the large figure eight pit and north of locus 30, the ovular pit against W01. In this pit we uncovered very little material culture. This pit, like the others, was cut directly into bedrock; it was not lined with clay. The function remains largely unclear. Given the associated material culture (of this pit and the others) it is assumed that this is an LBA construction. This feature is associated with locus 34 (the fill).
