This context refers to the ovular pit situated in the southeast corner of T44, just north of locus 27, south of locus 23 and east of locus 37. This pit is situated adjacent to W01. It contained the base of an LBA vessel. The pit is not lined, but cut directly into bedrock. It is associated with locus 40, the fill.
