This sample is the best from the operation: several pieces of a burnt beam that could not be removed intact, but is nevertheless a very substantial sample. Sample collected from about 1963.65 (1.80m below the southeast corner of the NW wall. The beam appears to continue beneath the seeming jumble of rocks in the western part of the trench.
