Place: Ar/Ge.T22.03

This is the area enclosed by the E and the S walls of the "room" in T22. The initial soil matrix is a lighter, slightly more clayey soil than the wash layer. Charcoal is sprinkled throughout the matrix, at a variety of levels, in a variety of places, and of a variety of sizes. This locus may be extended when we dig down the new 2m extension of the trench, to capture the entire room, but so far, its bottom elevation is coincident with the top elevation of Locus 8. Wrote in LB stratum due to the room being apparently LB.
